2026 CSOT Annual Symposium Call For Proposals

Call for Proposals

Deadline: April 30, 2026, 11:59 PM ET

You are invited to submit proposals for a lecture or workshop for the CSOT Annual Symposium to be held at the Hyatt Regency in Toronto, ON, from November 7-8, 2026.

The proposal should be organized under the following headings:

1. Session outline (maximum 250 words)

2. Learning format: lectures or workshops

3. Name of the session Chair(s) (including affiliation and contact information)

Please note the following:

• Presenters/lecturers who are CSOT registered members and speak at a CSOT symposium will receive 10 points per presentation towards their annual CEU points requirement.
• Sessions can be between 30 – 60 minutes.
• Preference will be given to topics relevant to the broader community that include multidisciplinary speakers from different Canadian regions/centres.

The CSOT Board will review all proposals and send decision notifications by the end of May 2026.

Document submission requirements:

• Please DO NOT use text with ALL CAPS in the proposal document.
• Please submit your proposal in a Microsoft Word document format. 
• Please note that the primary language at the meeting is English. We ask that submissions are also in English.
• By submitting a proposal, you attest that you have the right to the submitted materials based on copyright law and that you have obtained permission to use any third-party material for the purposes as set out herein prior to submission.

Reimbursement:

• Presenters will not be provided with travel or accommodation expense reimbursement.
